The H@H smartwatch and duress alarm are designed to be a discreet piece of technology. If the wearer feels they’re in danger at any time, they can engage the duress alarm with a simple activation. This immediately opens live audio recording and provides our accredited monitoring centre with GPS location to pinpoint exactly where where you are. Giving them the ability to escalate the alarm to support services and police.
Here are a few endorsements from survivors – and social workers who use the service in high-risk

“The watch provides hope for our whanau to back their freedom to be safe, freedom to leave their home
and assurance for safety, to keep our families safe and alive.”
Dee Clark, Team Leader, Whanau Ora, Papakura Maree
“The watch has given me my confidence back. I feel so much safer when I am out”
Survivor feedback to Papakura Police
“We believe that access to the safety watches for our tangata whai ora would be greatly beneficial for
their safety. These watches are discreet and would provide ongoing safety for tangata whai ora and
their whānau who leave their homes during the day and are out in the community. Often the victim
survivor may experience stalking from their perpetrator to regular activities that they attend on an
ongoing basis, for example Church. Further, these watches would also be able to provide ongoing safety
to tangata whai ora and their whanau who need to leave their current housing situation immediately,
and be put into emergency housing.”
Megan Van Veen, Clinical Lead, Family Action
“Our team has found them to be extremely effective and an added value with respect to personal
safety during home visits and independent shift duties. Especially night shifts.”
Sucharita Varma, Director, Sahaayta
“It’s reassuring to be able to provide our people with the most advanced safety technology. Having this
safety tool in their bag, empowers our workers, and gives them the confidence to know when they go
into a home – if something goes wrong, then we’ve got their back.”
Mary Chapman, HR Manager, Family Success Matters
‘”As a Social Worker working in the Auckland Community often alone on visits, the H@H Watch adds
safety into my role. I know that if I feel unsafe, support is easily accessible with the push of one button.
This gives me peace of mind and a sense of safety in my role.”
Sam ,Social Worker – Stand Tū Māia
“Wearing the H@H watch when I am in the community gives me a sense of security knowing help is
never far away. It allows me to focus on what is important, and be fully present for my clients. I also feel
valued in my role, and that our organisation understands the risks that we face every day.”
Tereza, Social Worker – Stand Tū Māia
I’ve worn the H@H watch a few times now, and it has definitely increased my sense of safety while
working in the community. It is a very easy-to-use and discreet communication tool that is detrimental
to have in the community.
